Dunamis is committed to providing energy-efficient products to its industrial and commercial customers throughout the United States.
Dunamis Charge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dunamis Clean Energy Partners LLC, is the world’s first African American woman-owned EV charger manufacturer. Natalie King has grown Dunamis into a multi million dollar enterprise with over 150 employees, while effectively carrying out her commitment to underserved and disenfranchised communities.
In 2022, she co-founded and now chairs the Blacks in Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (BEVI) trade association, with the primary goal of advancing the equitable, inclusive, and sustainable presence of Black suppliers in the global EV infrastructure marketplace. BEVI aims to align African American-owned and operated companies specializing in the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, repair, diagnostics, resale, and distribution of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE).
Natalie King’s achievements have been recognized by leading industry publications such as Black Enterprise Magazine, Corp! Magazine and GreenTech Media, to name a few. In 2022, Dunamis was one of five companies highlighted in the White House Fact Sheet [Biden-Harris Administration Ensuring Future is Made in America]. This was part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s focus on an industrial strategy to revitalize the manufacturing base, strengthen critical supply chains, drive down prices, and position U.S. workers and businesses to compete and lead globally in the 21st century. Natalie King has also been the recipient of many awards, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year for Michigan and Northwest Ohio (2021), Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence (2019), and Corp!
